Review assigned orders/contracts to ensure that requirements are adequately defined and documented, identify any differences between the order and the FSG tender, verify that FSG has the capability to meet contract scope, performance and delivery requirements.
Accountable for the successful achievement of the project contractual specification and schedules. Assures that the product meets the customers’ quality requirements. Assures that requirements are met on all purchased material.
Document, communicate to the sales channel and customer, and facilitate resolution of discrepancies between customer order, FSG tender, and FSG capabilities. Plan and facilitate meetings as appropriate to accomplish such resolution. The Project engineer is the first line of communication on all technical issues which need Sales or customer input. He or she will interface with departments within FSG operations and will represent the project to the customer and to management.
Communicate contractual requirements and changes within FSG in accordance with applicable procedures.
Responsible for complete, thorough and accurate information such as bills of material, routing, schedules, material specifications, engineering documentation, buy-out specifications, engineering changes, and supply of all documentation required.
Assures the timely release of engineering documentation to meet schedules- both initial submittals and the finalization of all outstanding documentation. Responsible to help improve order’s payment by submitting all documentation required.
The incumbent will be the first point of contact and responsible for
deliver the order to the customer on time, on budget and with the utmost quality. The duties include but are not limited to contract review, clarification, communication, and execution in accordance with agreed upon requirements. The Project engineers assumes complete responsibility for project orders from award of order through shipment and final documentation. The Project engineer must work with the customer to define their requirements and then must satisfy them by meticulously planning, tracking, and verifying the execution of the numerous tasks required.
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any other related Technical discipline with min. 8 years
experience in handling Seals and Seal Auxiliary Systems
- Knowledge in application, material, standards, specifications review, auxiliary design, flow calculation and
troubleshooting of mechanical seals and auxiliary systems will be a distinct advantage.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret engineering specifications &/or drawings.
Ability to negotiate effectively with internal and/or external customers when required
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, distinguish between relevant and/or irrelevant
contributing factors and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to communicate and present well to customers on bad actors resolution. Customer facing skills.
Competence in MS Office applications. Knowledge in AutoCAD and design / application skills will be of
