Position Description:

Digital Asset Management Specialist

The Digital Asset Management Specialist will play a vital role in the architecture design, configuration, testing and deployment of Flowserve’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution. You will work closely with the product managers, marketing directors, internal design team and outside agencies to build and manage a state-of-the-art Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementation.

The ideal candidate should have at least three (3) years of experience working as a digital librarian, managing digital assets for large organizations, including a strong technical knowledge of the capabilities of DAM systems.


  • Work with internal clients to gather functional and technical requirements around digital asset metadata, taxonomy, organization and workflow

  • Firm understanding of photography, creative, and production processes common in agencies and digital media organizations

  • Create governance, process, and training documentation for future continuity in managing assets

  • Be able to organize and create efficient metadata models, taxonomy namespaces, and search

  • Understand digital video management capabilities, video processing and viewing

  • Configure DAM to work with photography and video production shoots and workflow

  • Understand using InDesign, InDesign Server, Photoshop, Bridge and Creative Cloud integration with DAM system

  • Work to create content and experience fragment models to meet customer needs

  • Understand Digital Rights Management, and advise and configure archival policies

Position Requirements:


  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as a digital librarian

  • Formal Training on DAM system is preferred

  • Digital Marketing and Social experience is a major plus

  • Experience working with geographically diverse project teams

  • Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools

  • Excellent estimation abilities in scoping work in a highly complex environment

  • Exposure to open-source technologies

  • Experience building, deploying and supporting Internet-facing applications

  • Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
