Position Description:

Provide an effective and efficient HR transactional service directly to all Flowserve employees, managers, and HRs via askHR using KnowledgeBase and inquiry management tools. Complete Human Resources transactions in accordance with the HR Operations and Service Delivery standards. Support Service Delivery and provide effective and timely solutions to the HR Operations team.

• Customer Service: Possess strong customer service focus and knowledge of proper customer relation practices

• HR Operations: Have a good understanding of current HR transactional processes and demonstrate competency in using and advising others regarding regional HR processes

• Accountabilities

– Evaluate and properly handle inquiries in KnowledgeBase

– Process HR operations transactions and inquiries received via askHR within designated Service Level Agreement (SLA)

– Participate in training and update calls

– Interacts via inquiry management tool (email and telephone as needed) to answer questions and process transactions

– Perform all work in accordance with established service delivery standards

– Process Improvements

• Help review process improvements submitted by the team to determine viability

• Thoroughly assess processes to determine improvements that will create efficiency and increase effectiveness

• Keep KnowledgeBase and askHR inquiries updated

• Work with Admins and HR and other resources to update processes

• Process and monitor complex transactions and transaction activity on the team

Position Requirements:

Position Requirements


– Bi-lingual (written and spoken) – Dutch and English, French is a plus

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work across boundaries (cross countries and time zones)

– Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works, to maintain constructive working relationships

Technical Ability

– Be familiar with the my HR portal (training will be given)

– Use a keyboard effectively and efficiently, as required for the work

– Possess numerical ability and data entry skills

– Have experience with Flowserve HRIS systems including GEMS and TAS

– Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

– Be comfortable with technology and proficient with Microsoft Office products

– Be able to navigate through multiple computer applications and databases

Other Skills

– Have strong analytical and problem solving skills and works well within a team

– Be able to work to deadlines in a structured, measurement-oriented environment – established Service Level Agreement

– Possess exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to multi-task
