Technical background with BA/BS degree required, equivalent industry experience may be considered.
Minimum of 5+ years’ work experience within Project/Program Management or Contract Administration preferred, with experience relating to manufactured, engineered products provided for domestic and international market applications.
Strong history of successful project management.
Powerful self-driven work ethic, willing to work extended hours as needed.
Cross-functional knowledge of manufacturing processes (relating to ferrous and non-ferrous cast and forged materials, welding, NDT, machining and testing) required.
Strong administrative, communication and facilitating skills with ability to interact with all facility personnel, customers, vendors, and inspection or governing agencies is required. We are looking for an effective planner, problem solver, and mentor to join our Projects Team.
Ability to establish priorities and work to specific deadlines with minimum supervision.
Ability to work in fast paced, high-energy, goal oriented team environment.
Experience with Manufacturing MRP/ERP Business Systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) required.
Lead, manage, and sustain the daily activities for the facility’s growing Project Management Team and expanding major project business portfolio. Major projects are defined by complexity, customer, strategic value and/or dollar value. The Project Manager takes responsibility for leading key project(s) activities from time of quotation through successful customer installation in order to enable achievement of schedule adherence, successful risk mitigation, positive customer relations, accurate forecasting of revenue and cash flow, and successful completion of all contractual obligations.
The Project Manager is responsible to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and provide:
Technical and commercial support throughout the project life cycle, from quotation through final customer acceptance and receipt of payment. This includes coordination with subject matter experts and an individual ability to review and respond to both technical and commercial inquiries.
Technical and commercial project document management to define document requirements, apply necessary cross functional resources, and support customer review and acceptance.
Forecasting of revenue, gross margins, and cash flow based on planned shipments to enable on-schedule milestone progress payments.
Collaboration to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to achieve milestones.
Submittal of timely project schedules and status reports.
MBA and formal project management training with PMP certification are strongly preferred.
Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Knowledge in Microsoft Project is preferred.
Familiarity with valves and/or commercial nuclear industry preferred.
