Preferences:

  • Completionof full mechanical strip downs of pumps, mechanical seals and ancillaryequipment.

  • Responsibilityto create and submit detailed strip and inspection reports.

  • ThePrecision Assembler will carry out all general servicing, repair, refurbishmentand troubleshooting.

  • Theprecision Assembler works closely with the QRC Engineers, technical supportengineers and contract engineers to ensure repairs and upgrades are properlyspecified and executed.

  • PrecisionAssembler will have the responsibility of completing individual pump reportsboth at the inspection and final assembly stages.

  • Ifinvolved in service work there will also be a requirement for.

  • ThePrecision Assembler will work as part of the Aberdeen QRC team.

  • Responsibilityfor the Health and Safety and all standard procedure in line with currentlegislation in work area.

  • Involvedin Goods receiving and inventory management process as necessary .

Position Requirements:

  • TimeServed - Mechanical fitter / Fitter Turner.

  • Significantexperience in a Engineered pump or Mechanical Seal assembly role

  • MechanicalFitting knowledge.

  • Apprenticetrained with recognised provider and industry Experienced in the use of allprecision measuring equipment, i.e. micrometres.

  • Goodcommunicator.

  • Flexibleteam member.

  • Familiar with alignment, vibration and ancillarypumping equipment.

Position Description:

The idealcandidate for this role will be qualified in a mechanical engineeringdiscipline and have good fitting and mechanical skills. Ideally, they willbe familiar with alignment, vibration and ancillary pumping equipment. Theywill be competent in Pumps, Mechanical Seals and Dry Gas Seals to offer maximumflexibility within the team.

Lifting and slinging capability would also beadvantageous. Good oral, written and interpersonal skills are required, asis the ability to use basic IT packages. This is an excellent opportunityto work within a varied, and \"all hands-on deck\" environment withinthe mechanical engineering industry, and build a specialist career.
